Montgomery of Glencoe AU 4yr old purebred bull, with proven fertility. We have used Mont over all our girls (except his dam of course), and it's time for him to move onto another farm.
All calves produced have been easy calvings, usually around 25-35kg in birth weight, making him ideal for joining with your heifers.
He is a well built and well proportioned highland bull, with a calm temperament. Once he knows what to do in the yards and where the paddock gates are, he is easy to move through without too much of a fuss. He needs to be in the company of at least one other highland as he doesn't do well on his own. Not suitable for halter, as he doesn't enjoy his head being touched. Will eat from your hand, and is trained to come to you for buckets of grain/pellets/feed. Goes bananas for apples, pears and lucerne cubes.
Photos of progeny can be sent on request. Live video calls can be arrange to view if you can't travel to inspect. Has recently lost his nose ring.
He's currently in his prime and well conditioned, having all but completed his 'work' for this season.
