Lord Stewart is a young bull calf of excellent pedigree out of proven breeders. He is growing rapidly, has a wonderful structure like his parents and promises to be a handsome bull with a presence and a sweet nature. Lord Stewart is not halter trained nor trained to hand-brushing, but this is the ideal time for the buyer to begin training as well as developing a bond.
Lord Stewart is 4 months old and will likely be ready to start breeding at 12 months of age (ie, by the end of 2023). His horns are just beginning to appear now.
Available from 30 April 2023.
Last photos are of Lord Stewart’s sire, Robin of Loxley. Robin serviced our cows for two years and has a sweet nature, was sweet towards young calves around him and had all our cows in calf within first cycle year 1, within 2 cycles year 2.
We farm regeneratively using biodynamics, a beyond organic approach which builds a balanced farm ecosystem. This creates the conditions for optimal animal health providing balanced nutrition and supporting healthy immunity.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come and visit our farm and meet the animals in person.
We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please note also:
* Price is inclusive of GST. A tax invoice will be supplied to the purchaser and payment in full is required before the animal leaves our property.
* Buyer must have a registered PIC for NLIS purposes. We will transfer the animal from our PIC to yours on NLIS on the day the animal is transported.
* We will transfer the animal Registration from our AHCS membership to yours at our cost on the day the animal is sold, and you will then be noted as the registered owner of the animal in the AHCS Herdbook and hold the Certificate of Registration. If the buyer is not a member of AHCS we are happy to pay for Heritage membership for 2023 as membership benefits are extremely worthwhile for owners of Highland Cattle, and only AHCS members can register progeny.
* Buyer will need to arrange transport at their own cost.
