Ailsa is a younger heifer born in 2023. She was conceived through artificial insemination (AI), with her sire being Philip of Strathallan - a UK registered bull who won Grand Champion Highland at the Royal Show in 1985 and 1986.
Ailsa is a sweet natured, confident young heifer who will come when called. She enjoys pats and being brushed and will happily eat from your hand.
She is crush trained, moves calmly through the yards and has been tick fever vaccinated. She has not been halter trained. On hot days she enjoying cooling off in the dam.
She is registered as a B Grade heifer with the Australian Highland Cattle Society, offering the potential opportunity to produce future A Grade heifer calves when joined with a registered bull.
Ailsa would make a lovely addition to a Highland fold, whether you are starting out or looking to expand your fold.
